Water conservation is crucial for our earth, our community and our families. We use water so much in our daily lives that it is easy to take it for granted.
Legacy Plumbing wants to make a difference by raising awareness in our community about water conservation and help provide access to clean safe water in areas that are not as fortunate as us.
Legacy Plumbing has been supporting The Water Project since 2013 and we have raised over $41,000 to-date.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don’t have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let’s fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We’ll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
We’ve been honored to fund the following projects:
THE LATEST: Mwiyenga Primary School now has a new source of safe, clean water. A new rainwater catchment system has been built and there are now six new latrines being used!
Other projects we’ve been able to support:
- Ewamakhumbi Primary School
- Athiani Community C
- Asatsa Spring Protection and Sanitation Project
- Hanga Asiyanju
