We are happy to announce the Charity of the Month for July is Family Promise of Collin County. Family Promise of Collin County serving homeless families with children in Collin County since 2011. They provide food, shelter and support services to these families with children as they regain stability and independence. By mobilizing communities and existing resources to assist homeless families with children, FPOCC can provide food, shelter and support at a third of the cost of a traditional shelter program as they regain sustainable independence. Recognizing that poverty is a multifaceted problem that requires a multifaceted response, they respond by integrating educational outreach, smart programming, effective policies, and the hands-on work of thousands of volunteers.
