Legacy Plumbing is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring the entire cost of a well for the Kaliani Community in Southeastern Kenya.
People in Kenya travel for more than 2 miles to fetch water by walking by foot, all the way to the Kinze River. They collect water from scoop holes in the river bed.
The money we are giving towards this project will be for building the well, as well as training will be provided to the people on sanitation and hygiene.
We take for granted clean flowing water, knowing that it’s there every time we open our taps. In our everyday lives, we use water, which is a crucial element for our earth, community and families, the human race.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don’t have safe water to drink? Together, we can change that.
This year, Legacy Plumbing wants to make a difference by raising awareness in our community about water conservation and help less fortunate communities by providing them with access to clean safe water.
The gifts we are giving will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa.
