Homes throughout Dallas and North Texas are often more than thirty years old. That means your sewer line has spent decades surrounded by clay soil that swells during rainy periods and tightens during dry spells. This ongoing movement can strain older piping, leading to cracks, misaligned joints, and recurring drainage issues. If you find yourself dealing with sewer line problems, Legacy Plumbing provides dependable sewer line replacement in Dallas, TX, and the surrounding areas, giving you a long-lasting solution backed by a team that understands local soil behavior and aging infrastructure.
Schedule a sewer line replacement in North Texas today with our trusted team.
At Legacy Plumbing, we’re proud to be known for clear communication, honest guidance, and skilled workmanship. Households appreciate our upfront pricing, along with access to rolling promotions. When you’re facing a major project like sewer line replacement, knowing exactly what to expect matters:
Many homeowners hope a repair, or a sewer and drain cleaning, will be enough, and sometimes it is. However, certain conditions make replacement the smarter choice. When damage is widespread or structural issues keep returning, replacing the line can save you time, stress, and money in the long run.
If you’ve dealt with multiple repairs or frequent blockages, it often means the line has deteriorated along a long stretch. At that point, replacing the entire run prevents ongoing disruptions and eliminates the cycle of temporary fixes.
Roots from mature trees can enter small openings and spread throughout the pipe. When roots take over large sections, clearing them out will not stop the damage from returning. A sewer replacement in Frisco, TX, provides a clean, root-free path for wastewater to move properly.
Soil movement can cause sections of pipe to sag or collapse. Once the structure fails, wastewater collects in low spots or leaks into the surrounding soil. These issues cannot be reliably repaired, making a sewer line replacement in McKinney, TX, the only dependable solution.
When every drain in your home slows down and there’s no isolated clog, it often points to a failing main line. Replacing the sewer line restores full flow and removes the guesswork of chasing symptoms.
Before recommending sewer line replacement, our team uses advanced diagnostic tools to understand what is happening underground. Our team provides video camera inspections along with other testing methods to pinpoint the exact cause of your sewer issues. These services help determine whether a repair or full sewer line replacement in Plano, TX, or the surrounding areas is the right path.
We offer complete sewer line replacement services tailored to the needs of Dallas households. Whether your line runs through your yard or beneath a concrete slab, our team has the experience to handle the job safely and efficiently. If your sewer line is located under your home’s foundation, we offer slab leak detection in addition to our traditional leak detection services. From start to finish, we focus on minimizing disruption while delivering a long-lasting solution.
Regional experience matters. We have provided sewer line repair and replacement in Dallas and surrounding areas for decades, ensuring households receive a dependable long-term fix.

You may need sewer replacement in Frisco, TX, if you’re experiencing:
A camera inspection can confirm whether the damage is isolated or extensive. If the issues affect long stretches of pipe, replacement is usually the most reliable option.
Most sewer line replacements take one to three days, depending on the length of the line, soil conditions, and accessibility. Houses with lines under concrete slabs or in tight spaces may require additional time. Your plumber will outline the expected timeline before work begins.
Yes. Tree roots are one of the most common causes of major sewer damage in Dallas. Once roots spread through multiple joints or sections, clearing them out will not stop them from returning. In these cases, replacing the line provides a long-term solution that prevents future blockages and structural damage.
I was impressed with Legacy Plumbing, but specifically with Matthew and Kameron who came to fix a plumbing issue. They were professional from start to finish. At the door they put on shoe covers, which was nice because we don’t wear shoes in the house and I always feel bad I have to ask people to cover or remove their shoes: I didn’t have to ask. But, that was just the start. They listened to what I said, evaluated it, and then expertly predicted what the problem could be. They explained their analysis and why they were recommending opening the wall under the sink instead of putting a camera down the drain first (which comes with a charge). And, they were correct. They found and repaired a complex and unusual plumbing problem with ease and at the least expense possible. What I found especially impressive is how polite and professional Matthew and Kameron were. Not only were they polite, I never heard any language that one often hears with people in the trades. By the way I am a former electrician so I respect those who are in the trades. But, it is common to hear workers speak to each other using language that is…crude. Matthew and Kameron were 100% professional, all the time. They brought a level of respect to their profession that is uncommon. They are welcome in my home anytime.
Thank you to Canon, Hubert, and Jeremy! Cannot say how much I appreciate y’all and your great communication, patience with answering all my questions, and your extra care in making sure to not let our little escape artists (our two cats) make their way out of the house!
On day two of excavation (also my birthday!), the crew told us that the damage was so bad that we could not use the bathrooms until the plumbers could come to fix the pipes! This was Tuesday, and Canon wasn’t scheduled to come to work on the house until Thursday, but thanks to some *magic* from a Legacy team member named Meagan, Canon was able to make it over to us asap on Wednesday with Jeremy to make sure we had a working bathroom again! Never thought I’d be saying best birthday present ever– having a usable bathroom again– but THANK YOU! Canon and Hubert finished out the remainder of the week and did a great job with the plumbing. We’re tenants of the house and not the homeowners, but when we do get to own our own home one day, I’ll be calling Legacy Plumbing to take care of us!
We just had the most wonderful experience with Legacy Plumbing! My husband and I just bought our first home and we were surprised to discover a huge leak within the second week of living here. Our realtor recommended Legacy Plumbing and we are so grateful that he did! Matthew and Evan were kind, respectful, and so knowledgeable. They were able to fix our huge leak in one day (not even to mention they worked so hard for hours in the TX heat!) and they were so helpful to us by answering any questions that we had about our plumbing system. They even went above and beyond by helping us replace some missing insulation around our pipes. We are so grateful to Matthew and Evan. Because of them- we will continue to use Legacy Plumbing from now on!
I noticed water stains on my driveway. Then more and more water. I called Legacy Plumbing and they were able to come to my house the same day within 3 hours. Skylar did a great job finding the first leak, which was under the driveway. Mike came in to do the repair under the driveway. However, once the first one was repaired, there was another leak, which was not easy to find. Mike figured out where he thought the leak was and immediately came up with a reasonable solution to fix it.
These guys, Mike and Skylar, are true professionals and did a great job! I will certainly recommend Legacy Plumbing.
Legacy plumbing did a fantastic job with a leak we had near the sidewalk/ water meter. I spoke to Canon first and he was very knowledgeable and explained what it would take with all the pricing options since he was completely booked, Sean and Luis came to fix the leak and they did a phenomenal job right from start to finish. They were very friendly and did an excellent job! It is very hard to find a good plumbing company these days and I will definitely recommend Legacy plumbing on our neighborhood Facebook page with a 5-star rating!! Thank you!
