If you’ve ever had a sewer backup, then hearing that unnatural glug-glug sound can be anxiety-inducing. Sewer and drain problems can be very stressful and scary for several reasons. Pipes are hidden from inspection, creating emergency leaks that can happen without warning. Ultimately, sewage backing up into the house is the nastiest form of water-damage.
At Legacy, we believe that clarity is the cure for concern. Our licensed plumbers delight in demystifying your drains. We have the tools to clear any blockage and diagnose issues with drain lines serving your home, giving our customers peace of mind.
Here in North Dallas, the vast majority of residential drain lines are made of either PVC or cast-iron. Cast-iron drain pipe was installed before the mid-1980s. Around this time it was replaced by PVC for residential properties. Plumbing code dictates certain ground-rules for how pipes are supposed to connect, but there are a myriad of different layouts and approaches used by construction crews throughout the years.
It takes the right tools, experience, and knowledge of plumbing code to properly assess your system. Legacy Plumbing offers drain cleaning, sewer line repair and advanced inspections. We can take care of today’s issues AND tomorrow’s issues before they happen.

Whether you’re dealing with a slow sink or a clogged main sewer line, Legacy has the tools and expertise to take care of these emergencies quickly and with minimal disruption to your life. We will not only take care of the problem, we can answer any questions you have about your sewer system to put your mind at ease.

Tough clogs can be a nuisance, so Legacy Plumbing provides professional drain cleaning services to eliminate buildup and restore proper flow to your sinks, tubs, and showers. Whether it's a slow drain or a complete blockage, our technicians use advanced tools to safely and efficiently clear your pipes. We help prevent future issues by removing buildup caused by grease, hair, soap scum, and other debris.

Buildup in your sewer line can cause a range of problems for your plumbing system. If you are dealing with a clogged or backed-up sewer line, our team has you covered. We offer expert sewer cleaning to clear blockages and keep your plumbing system flowing smoothly. Our sewer line cleaning services address everything from tree root intrusion to years of buildup inside your main sewer line.

If you have a broken or collapsed sewer line, this can cause many headaches and leave you constantly stressed about the next backup. Legacy Plumbing specializes in sewer line repair and replacement - in the yard and under the slab. We perform to code and work efficiently. Finally, we keep customers in-the-loop throughout the entire process.

You can’t fix what you can’t see! Every Legacy Plumbing truck is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment including sewer inspection cameras and locators. Our technicians can pinpoint exactly where leaks and breaks are located, leading to a faster repair and less guesswork. This also enables our team to visualize system designs and create alternate solutions to sewer problems. We also have equipment that allows us to perform hydro-static isolation tests and even detect issues that are impossible to see via camera.
Common signs of drain problems include slow-draining sinks, recurring clogs, foul odors from drains, and gurgling sounds in your pipes. If you notice any of these, our team can clear your drain line to restore flow and functionality.
We recommend scheduling a camera inspection if you experience frequent backups, unexplained plumbing issues, or are purchasing a new home. They help identify root intrusion, cracks, and blockages without digging.
Our team utilizes a range of techniques for sewer line cleaning, such as high-pressure hydro jetting or mechanical augers to remove debris, grease, roots, and scale from inside your sewer lines.
Signs of a damaged sewer line include sewage backups, foul smells, soggy patches in your yard, or multiple drain issues. A camera inspection can determine the extent of the damage, and our team can advise you on whether repair or full replacement is needed.
Thank you to Canon, Hubert, and Jeremy! Cannot say how much I appreciate y’all and your great communication, patience with answering all my questions, and your extra care in making sure to not let our little escape artists (our two cats) make their way out of the house!
On day two of excavation (also my birthday!), the crew told us that the damage was so bad that we could not use the bathrooms until the plumbers could come to fix the pipes! This was Tuesday, and Canon wasn’t scheduled to come to work on the house until Thursday, but thanks to some *magic* from a Legacy team member named Meagan, Canon was able to make it over to us asap on Wednesday with Jeremy to make sure we had a working bathroom again! Never thought I’d be saying best birthday present ever– having a usable bathroom again– but THANK YOU! Canon and Hubert finished out the remainder of the week and did a great job with the plumbing. We’re tenants of the house and not the homeowners, but when we do get to own our own home one day, I’ll be calling Legacy Plumbing to take care of us!
Luis was here today to fix a clogged drain and low water pressure in the bathroom. He was knowledgeable and courteous telling us exactly what he was doing to take care of our drain and how to manage our faucet aerator. Before leaving, Luis provided a complimentary inspection of our water heater and outdoor faucet water pressure providing more pertinent information along the way. On inspecting the kitchen sink faucet, he repaired a small drip. We were more than happy with Luis’s work and will be calling Legacy Plumbing again for our plumbing needs.
Great experience with this company! We had a sewer leak under our slab. After extensive evaluation of the problem, Wayne explained in detail the options for repair. He and Schuyler took great care to protect the house while repairs were completed. It was a difficult repair, but they remained positive and were very personable throughout. The whole procedure was conducted professionally and with good humor. I would recommend this company to anyone!
