Family Promise of Collin County (FPOCC) has been serving homeless families with children in Collin County since 2011. By mobilizing communities and existing resources to assist homeless families with children, FPOCC can provide food, shelter and support at a third of the cost of a traditional shelter program as they regain sustainable independence.
FPOCC has many programs:
Live Well is an aftercare program for our families who have graduated from the shelter. The Live Well program will continue to provide case management, support groups, counseling, financial accountability and mentoring for up to 24 months after leaving the program.
Loved Well is the children’s enrichment program at FPOCC. As each child struggles through this journey without a home, Family Promise of Collin County will provide a safe and secure refuge where they can find support, kindness and laughter
Almost Home is a program for Guests who have successfully completed the shelter program. This program can offer temporary, affordable housing for up to 12 months for guests who have successfully completed their case management goals.
God’s Wheels Vehicle Program can help provide Collin County families with children the opportunity to own and maintain reliable transportation in order to preserve or regain sustainable independence.
Thank you, Logan, for sharing this amazing program with all of us.
